The K-System syringe pistons are non-vented. They are too small to leverage vented pison technologies, so the K-System uses a traditional insertion method that leverages an air venting strip or filament.

This filament is the tool necessary to properly insert the K-System pistons and vent the trapped-in air out of the syringes.
